PROCON International served as prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force for replacement of vehicle barrier systems at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. The work strengthened antiterrorism and force protection at controlled entry points across two installation sites, installing M50/P3 crash-rated electric drop-arm crash beams tested to ASTM F2656, alongside non-crash-rated control arms where screening requirements differed. Scope included PLC control cabinets and electrical terminations, redundant safety photo sensors, signal lighting, remote operation, manual override, system programming, commissioning and operator training.
